Why should the windows of the plane be kept open at boot?

Most air travelers notice the many restrictions and instructions issued by flight crews, especially during the take-off and landing process.

From these instructions, the seats are returned to their positions, anything is lifted on the floor of the plane, seat belts are tied, and all of these commands seem understandable.

But the most important and strange thing is the insistence of the crew to keep the windows open during the takeoff and landing and prevent the closure. What is the reason?

When asked at a UAE airline host on Tuesday, she said the reason was that the crew had to monitor the atmosphere outside the plane as it took off and landed.

She added that the survival of the windows open allows the crew to help the leaders of the aircraft, to follow the engines of the aircraft from the outside and any emergency at the departure calls for cockpit alert and act on it.
