Amazon orders 5,000 employees "home"

Have you ever thought of working with a global company without leaving your home? The company announced on Thursday its intention to create thousands of part-time jobs that do not require office attendance or move abroad.

Amazon is betting on a new virtual client program to create some 5,000 part-time jobs over the next year, allowing people to work from their homes as customer service agents, Good House Kiping reported.

"The service meets the needs of those who want to work, but they need flexible time, whether they are military wives or college students," said Tom Welland, a senior customer services officer at Amazon.

He added that people who work part-time for about 20 hours per week will be able to benefit from financial benefits offered by the company such as paid leave, savings and health care
